Extension & refurbishment to a Listed cottage in Climping.
Protracted design and planning negotiation secured a transformative approval that has breathed new life into what was a decaying heritage asset.
Conservation work was undertaken to remove external paint from cobbles and re-point flint-work, restore the porch and remove unsightly dormer windows and conservatory.
The existing ancillary outshot and barn like extension to the rear, that had to be retained, were converted and tied together with a sympathetic extension, which was designed not to draw attention away from the symmetry of the original heritage asset.
